Most people who join the Sault Boxing Club have never boxed before, and wonder if they need to commit to competing eventually.  Of course not!  Boxing for fitness is one of the best ways to get in great shape.

For beginners, the coaching staff will take you aside one on one and teach you the proper punching techniques (jabs, rights, hooks, uppercuts) in order to prevent injuries.  You will have fun garanteed!

With that being said, there are some people who decide to boxe competitively, and their training will be geared towards that, which includes sparring.
